If left untreated, it can cause serious long-term complications such as pelvic inflammatory disease, and even infertility.
The great thing is that if detected early, it can be easily treated with a course of antibiotics.
All you need to do is a simple swab or urine test and blood test onsite at the Madison Medical Practice Northbridge. The results are generally back in a couple of days and can be emailed to you at a follow-up appointment.
