Dr Yu-Ting Huang

We are delighted to welcome Dr Yu-Ting Huang to The Madison Medical Practice.

Dr Huang brings a unique and comprehensive blend of medical science, counselling, and specialist training in gynaecology to our practice. After completing her studies in medical science and counselling, she pursued a career in medicine and went on to specialise in gynaecology at Westmead Hospital in Sydney.

She further advanced her expertise with extensive training in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and complex collaborative surgery for gynaecological cancer patients, undertaken at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle. Her experience spans metropolitan, rural, and remote hospitals across Australia and New Zealand, giving her a broad and diverse clinical background.

Dr Huang’s key clinical specialties include:

• Cervical screening and dysplasia management

• Menstrual and hormonal health, including PCOS and menopause
  management

• Fertility assessment, preconception counselling, and fertility
  preservation (egg and/or embryo freeze)

• Pelvic pain

• Vulval disorders

Dr Huang is committed to providing patient-centred, compassionate, and collaborative care, with communication, patience, honesty, and kindness at the heart of her practice.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, scuba diving, and spending time with her dogs. Passionate about animals and marine life, she also enjoys underwater photography—while still humorously navigating the challenges of shutter speed and aperture. One day, she dreams of becoming a professional dog groomer and running her own doggy daycare.

Dr Huang has Taiwanese heritage, speaks Mandarin fluently, and has a strong understanding of the Hokkien dialect.
